REET 2020: REET Application Form Date, Apply Online Link, REET News Updates

Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) is going to take place soon almost after a gap of 3 years. REET 2020 is likely to take place in February 2021. It was scheduled to take place in August 2020 but due to the Covid19 Pandemic, the government had postponed the REET 2020 Announcement.

REET Application form for REET 2020 will be invited in November 2020. Any candidates having minimum educational qualification can apply for REET 2020.

About REET: REET is an eligibility test for the Teacher Recruitment in Rajasthan. According to NCTE Guidelines, it is necessary to conduct the eligibility test for the teachers before any recruitment. All state board in India conducts TET for Level 1 and Level 2. Bihar and Haryana conduct TET for Level 3 also.

REET Level 1 or Paper 1: In paper 1, candidates for class 1 to 5 will appear.

REET Level 2 or Paper 2: Candidates for Classes 6 to 8 will appear in level 2.

REET Application Form 2020 Details

The candidates having minimum educational qualification are eligible to apply online. Before applying online, a candidate should ensure that he/she meets all the qualification. Submitting online applications without holding the qualification will lead your application to the cancellation. And there is no exam fee refund as well.

Educational Qualification for REET 2020

REET Exam is divided into two papers. For each paper, candidates should have different educational qualifications. A candidate can apply for both of the papers too. Let’s check the minimum educational qualification for REET Exam 2020.

Minimum Qualifications for REET Paper-I

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (BSTC).

OR

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

Minimum Qualifications for REET Paper-II

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
